Society offers us a straitjacket: work, school, consumption, and an endless stream of 'musts'. But who actually determines what is meaningful?
We question the norms, dare to go slow and choose a life fueled by values — not expectations.
We are building a different story. One in which sustainable relationships, peace, nature and connection are central.

At vzw Just An Ordinary Family we believe that learning doesn't need school walls. Living is learning.
We choose homeschooling as a way to live closer together, to create space for play, creativity and real questions.
A lifestyle in which children are fully involved in daily life and discover their unique path within it.
Whether you are already homeschooling, or thinking about doing so - our non-profit organization is a place where you can find inspiration, practical tools and experiences - that will nourish you on this path. Because you don't have to walk this path alone.

In a society that glorifies individualism, we radically opt for community.
Together around the fire, eating together, laughing together — growing together. That's why we regularly organize live days where we can really meet each other.
projects
We believe in sharing beauty and meaningful initiatives. That is why we also show projects, people and places that touch us. And where we can contribute and learn from. Think of self-sufficient farms, natural learning environments, creative living forms, inspiring movements, etc.
